CNN and FOX Bias

This is going to be a short post to tell you that you should read articles by news agencies very carefully because one little sentence will indicate bias.  For instance, in the article "World Events Derail Obama's Agenda" by Cassie Spodak from CNN she states, "...otherwise push his proposals to build middle class opportunity-all rejected so far by Obama."  In which case, that is not true because the middle class is essential for this economy.  Who else besides the rich are going to support Republicans. Many of their supporters are also middle class too.  Democrats and Republicans needs the middle class because who else is going to be able to afford to buy things besides the rich?  Definitely, not the poor.   Democrats and Republicans need to work together.  That is where are bias is stated in the post the rest of the article is actually on what is causing Obama's Agenda to go out of control.

Always be weary of the media especially since the media is not free to oppose Obama in which I will go over that in more detail on another post.

Starbucks CEO = Stupid

Hello all, so today I am going to blog about the CEO of Starbucks acting like an arrogant little jerk.  Let me sum up the article on FOX news about this little CEO.  Schultz the CEO, has written a letter to gun owners telling them that guns are unwelcome, but they are not going to ban the guns in the store.  Furthermore, he told them that he does not want a mass shooting taking place in his stores so that is why he claims they are unwelcome.

Well, I think that he is blaming the wrong people because rarely has the accused in massive shootings has had the privilege of owning a gun because they were seen as not fit to carry a gun.  Like the township shooter, the Tucson shooter, and various others.  Why do people feel the need to punish legal gun owners. They are not the problem, the problem is those that come across gun illegally and obtain them to do harm.  Your drug traffickers, gang members and leaders, and those that are mentally unstable.  

In the end, IF PEOPLE WANT TO HARM OTHERS THEY WILL FIND ANY NECESSARY MEANS!!!  Guns are not the only weapon of choice if it was then it would be the only weapon of use.  It may be the majority used weapon, but that is because it is less personal and less messy.  We should be happy that mass shootings is a rare thing and that we do not have car bombs.  This world is never going to be perfect, so stop thinking it is if we get rid of gun rights.  Who is going to fight the government when the government becomes tyrannical?  Gun owners will.

Broadcast Media and Federal Government

Media is a wonderful thing. For instance, if it was not for technology I would not be writing a blog and this is a form of media. However, there are times that media really can damage people's images or even a nation's image. Also it can cause a nation to divide because of the information they give to the people.

Broadcast Media is beginning to damage America because of the information they give. They give information that will make Americans react and they want the news to be interesting. The media likes to present the Congress' differences and what they disagree upon. However, they do not show what they agree on or if they do it is only a minute broadcast. For instance, right now the media is focused on the Jobs Bill and on how much Republicans and Democrats do not agree. On the other hand, while the Jobs Bill is going on they did not show the Republicans and Democrats worked together to get THREE new trade agreements passed and President Obama signed off on it.

The media likes to present the drama of Congress and not what they agree on. Instead they prefer to get a rise out of Americans. I understand that it is their way of making news, but they are dividing the nation. They are constantly hounding at Congress. They hound Congress so much that politicians seem like they are campaigning in non-election years. If a Republican agrees with the Democrats he suddenly gets shunned and vice versa. If they agree with the opposite political party, that means trying to work together and agree with the other side.

Politicians are dividing up the United States along with the media because they refuse to make compromises. They refuse to agree with one another because they know the media will look down upon them and try to make them look bad to their Constituents.

America we need to start agreeing and stop depending on the media. If you do not have time listen to CNN and FOX News to see the different sides. Stop letting the media divide this nation even further down the line. As a nation we need to begin compromising. Otherwise, this nation will fall apart and we will be in a Civil War. Th federal government needs to compromise with one another and stop blaming each other because it is everyone's fault.

Media is not a bad thing, but it is hurting our nation. The downfall of broadcast media is that it tends to favor one side or the other and then it further divides the people. We have to learn how to compromise or else we will all end up to be losers.
