A quote from the article:
"Nobody can trust their statements and lies," Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in an e-mail to the media on Tuesday, a day after the two-day summit closed in Chicago. "They are claiming that everything is fine in Afghanistan, which is far from the reality."
Before I get to the quote that I have took from the article, I will summarize the article. The article is about the slow withdrawal of NATO forces in Afghanistan. NATO will have the troops no longer operating in combat mode after 2014, but will be training the military and operating there. Pakistan and Afghanistan is happy that NATO will continue to try to stabilize the country and prevent another Taliban and Al-Qaeda take over and not do a rush job of leaving Afghanistan to fend for itself. Iran is the only one that is weary because they do not want the US and NATO forces to be leaving a big military in the middle east and I think that they are scared that the US might attempt to invade Iran or support Israel if a war was to happen.
So back to the lovely quote from the Taliban. The Taliban to me it seems like they are questioning why NATO has decided to leave. Now would they not want NATO to leave so they can take over the country. NATO is in the country because of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, they are the problem. NATO was used to invade Afghanistan because one of the terrorists organizations decided to attack the US and according to the alliance they had to invade to stop the Taliban. Taliban and Al-Qaeda were in control of the government after the Soviets left and then when the US and NATO forces came into the country they lost control of Afghanistan.
The reason things are unstable is because an international terrorist organization was running Afghanistan and NATO forces came in and splintered the terrorist groups.
I think it is funny that he thinks the country is unstable and things are not all right and there is no reason for NATO troops to leave, but you are the one that is attacking the Afghan military and government preventing NATO from leaving. IF things are so unstable then work on a peace deal with the Afghan government
These are just the random thoughts that come to mind and I decide to post them.

Syrian Violence
Syria is in turmoil. Thousands of people are opposing President Bashar al-Assad. Less than a thousand have died (Syria will not be completely honest about it). However, I want to say that the United States should do something about it or other nations. There is a problem and it is AL-Qaeda and the Jordianian Muslim Brotherhood. They support the uprising and that is bad because we are have an issue with Al-Qaeda, right now I do not know of the relation with the Muslim Brotherhood (might not be good because of Egypt). Anyways, Al-Qaeda totally supports the sectarian violence in Syria. That surprises me because they have not been the most humane or freedom of choice kind of type. I believe that the US should do something, but i do not know what it is yet. They need to see why Al-Qaeda supports it, what are the benefits for them.
Syria's president needs to begin making compromises because pretty soon a powerful nation might just invade and do something about his tactics against his people. He shouldn't even be called a president, he should be called a dictator.
Message: Russia and China you have a terrible history with using violence on your people to get them to shut up. Of course you support Syria and you will do it. You do not want a tribunal to be held against President al-Assad because people would begin to question the methods both of you have used in the past. You do not make your country look any better by opposing any sort of resolution to deal with this issue.
I guess the US might have to try to see if it can be solved diplomatically through peace talks, but who knows if that is going to work.

Sept 11, 2011
This is a day that people should put their differences aside and come together for what happened 10 years ago. However, there are some people that are not willing to do that. For instance, I saw someone put up the death counts in the middle east and then compare it to ours. Are life should not be about the numbers. First of all those people are killed by their own terrorists and people forget that. Majority of the civilian deaths have been from terrorists, so stop blaming the soldiers for all of them. Innocent people will die in war and we cannot prevent that unless we make a few battlefields in clearings to prevent that. However, the terrorists do not fight like that, they fight like the North Koreans and the Vietnamese did back in the Cold War. They fight by ambushing, throwing bombs, hidden bombs. They do not fight the traditional way.
So stop blaming the soldiers for all the deaths that have occurred. Terrorists do not care who they kill just as long as they win and they get their point across. Their point that they are getting across is that they hate Western society and they want everyone to be under an Islamist rule. Terrorists need to be punished for killing their people and others. Terrorists like Al -Qaeda and the Taliban have no borders and they will go anywhere to get their point across and kill as many westerners as possible. that is why they need to be stopped.
So when we mourn who we have lost we need to be strong for those families and for our nation.
