President Obama V. Putin over International Involvement

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2015/09/28/at-u-n-monday-obama-and-putin-grapple-over-the-future-international-order/

Summary of Article

This article is about Obama and Putin both critizing one another for involvement in conflicts that hace occurred like Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Ukraine.  Obama is criticizing Putin for supporting the Syrian president and for supporting rebels in the Ukraine.  In addition, he also has criticized him for Annexing Crimea to be part of Russia.  On the other hand, Putin is critizing Obama for his involvement in the Middle East issues like supporting the rebels against President Assad and indirectly issues with Iran, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

Opinion

President Obama and Putin are wrong for getting involved in Syria.  They should have let the rebels and the Syrian government duke it out themselves.  That is there problem and if they want to fight let them because it is an internal issue.  Yes there is a problem of refugees, but I guarantee that the war would have been finished if Russia did not supply the Syrian government and the US did not supply the rebels.  In addition, if refugees are causing an issue for those countries then they should be aided with monetary and supplies to help those refugees.  That should be the only involvement in the Syrian issue.

All in all, I think it is time for countries to stop getting involved with the internal conflicts of other countries.  Russia should have stayed out of the conflict of Ukraine and Syria.  US should have stayed out of the conflict of Syria as well.  On the other hand, we know that the only reasons why countries get involved is because they have interests with those countries.  Putin supports Assad because they share intelligence with one another and they have economical agreements. Russia of course would not want rebels to win because then he will lose an alliance.  US supports the rebels because this will possibly build another alliance either through economical and/or intelligence support.

It is impossible for anyone to completely stay out of the problems of other countries, but we should try harder.  In addition, if they are going to get involved then it should not be with weapon supplying.  That just creates more issues like death, war, tyranny, and poverty.

Thoughts on 14 Year-Old Arrested For a Clock Mistaken to be a Bomb

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/ahmed-mohamed-texas-teen-arrested-clock-issue-gop/story?id=33802976

I hope all is going well with everyone today.  I haven't been blogging due to life, which we all have to deal with.  However, a news article has got me a little rattled. The linked article is about a teenager who was arrested for a clock that authorities thought was a bomb.  I honestly do think this teenager was arrested based on the fact that he is Muslim.  Fear leads to many innocent people getting arrested or investigated because people think that the color or religion you follow will lead to a terrorist attack.

In addition, Governor Bobby Jindal contradicts himself in this article because he thinks that no 14 year-old should not be arrested, but he is happy the police are doing their job.  The police are not doing a good job because they did not bother to inspect the clock before arresting him. It is absolutely terrible that they were so quick to rush to judgment because he is Muslim and he is bringing in a clock that they thought could carry a bomb.

Then Governor Jindal goes on to make himself look like a bigger fool by criticizing the Muslim community that they are not doing a better job to denounce violence.  I bet you if researchers did a study on the Muslim community and compared it to another community about their size they would find they commit less crimes.  No one should blame the Muslim community in America for events that are happening across the world unless you can prove that they are funding them.  In addition, funding is rare because the federal government will eventually capture those who do it through extensive investigation.  The risk of being caught is high therefore most will not attempt it.

Lastly, he turns it into a Christian issue by stating they are facing discrimination.  Everyone faces discrimination and it depends on how you want to handle it.  The clerk deserves to be arrested for not issuing out marriage licenses to gay couples.  It is her job and she should not let her personal beliefs get in the way of her job and if she has got a problem she should have quit.

Russia Up to their Old Ways?

Times of India

Hello All, I hope all is going well.

Russia is up to their old tricks, which are attacking other countries and threatening the United States with nuclear weapons.  I guess Russia forgot that NATO exists and those countries who have agreements with NATO will receive protection.  The United States is supplying weapons and equipment to assist six countries who may face an attack from Russia.  Furthermore, if Russia does decide to attack them then NATO will need to protect those states because they have an agreement with NATO for protection if they are attacked by another country.  Vladimir Putin told others that he was not being aggressive but persistent in their interests.  He is just playing with words because persistent is still being aggressive.

Russia has no right for invading Ukraine nor do they have any right to invade any other countries.  I think the real problem is Vladimir Putin and he needs to go.  They need to understand that they do not have the right to overtake countries that they let go.  Those are sovereign nations who have the right to protect themselves and request assistance to prevent and/or fight an invasion.

Putin is acting like a stuck up child who wants what he wants and will risk everything to get it.

NATO had Largest Military Exercise

Hello everyone, I hope all is doing well. I wrote this last week, sorry that it is late.

Today’s blog will be in regards to NATO preparing for a potential war with Russia.  Russia is causing a major issue in international relations, but when have they not?  The Ukraine issue was really the beginning of major issues with them. They sent troops and supplies over an international borderline.  Ukraine was having civil unrest and clashes with protestors.  Russia had no business becoming involved with the conflict.  Instead it seems like they were attempting to annex the Ukraine back into their procession.
Anyways Russia also conducted exercises and they claim that they are prepared for NATO.  Furthermore, this issue also highlighted concern with China and the United States.  Apparently, the United States has an issue with China building artificial islands in the China Sea.  I will look into the issue further about the artificial islands to discover the real issue.  China is threatening to go to war with the United States if they do not see their demands to stop building the islands.
In the end, it could be that all the parties involved in this issue are just all talk and nothing is going to happen.  However, the expectation is that war may commence in the summer.  On the other hand, they may just be creating a spectacle for the media and the people.  Who really knows if they are just talking or will they do anything about it.

Update on Obama’s Immigration Executive Order

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/27/us/fifth-circuit-court-of-appeals-rules-on-obama-immigration-plan.html?_r=0

Hello, it has been awhile, but school is finally over so I will be able to devote more time to blogging.  Today I am blogging about a recent article that came out in regards to the standing injunction of executing Obama’s executive order.  The Court of Appeals has ruled to support the states with preventing the executive order for immigration from being enforced.  The states are arguing that there will be an economic burden for giving illegals proper paperwork to stay in the country for the time being and to give them licenses.  Economic burden does have legal grounds for states.  Furthermore, the President is circumventing standing laws, which make it illegal to come into the United States.
We all have our opinions and I will express mine whether people like it or not.  First, I do not think that illegals should be given a free pass to stay in this country.  They are hurting those that have come into this country the right way and our getting their citizenship.  They have worked long and hard to be able to go to a citizenship ceremony and proudly say they are Americans.  The problem is that illegals think well if we just come then we can use our children or other means to become residents or citizens.  Which is wrong to do so.
Secondly, I have studied Mexico and South American countries, I have seen and learned that life is not great in those countries. The question is how can we change those countries?  It all begins with the people from within changing their country. Yes, it is not going to be an easy task, but change can happen.  The problem is that people are too scared of their government to fight against them so then they just pop into the next country expecting to deserve the same rights as the people who already live there. They take the easier route rather than fighting hard to change the course of history by taking out the tyrants.  There are countries who would gladly support a revolution against existing governments that they do not like.  Granted they will expect compensation for the weapons and some say when it comes to trading decisions.
For example, the United States of America would not exist if they did not have the assistance of France.  The revolutionaries were losing and then France came to their aid with weapons and supplies.  Their help change the course of the revolution.  The colonists fought against Britain because they did not want to have a standing army to knock down the colonists if they were not obeying.  They could not bear arms and they could not freely express themselves.  Over 200 years we still have those rights and we would not have gotten those rights if they had not fought against the British.

All in all, I understand why people come to this country illegally because they want a better life and to send money to love ones in their home countries.  However, at the same time running away is not solving the problem.  One day their children may want to live in Mexico or wherever they came from, but the situation is not going to change.  Stop running away and begin changing the country.  It does not half to be a full out change it can start in increments.  Beginning with towns, to cities, to counties, to states, and finally the whole country.  It takes time to make a country better for the people, but it is worth it in the end.  Stick to the cause and continue fighting until it changes.

Angola Blood Diamonds

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-32067602

Hello, it has been awhile since my last post.  So my blog post for today is about Blood Diamonds.  Information that I have read about comes from the above link from BBC News and opinions are from myself.  It has been reported that the United States is Angola's second trader and the first is China.  The United States obviously gets some oil and definitely diamonds.  Therefore, the United States government ignores the problem that is occurring in that country as well as international organizations.  There are over 90% of the people living in the slums in Angola.

While the majority of the country is poor the rich are enjoying their lives.  There is no middle class in Angola, only poor and rich. These people cannot even afford watermelons ($100) or chicken ($200) because it is too expensive.  The only thing that is reasonably priced is beer which is under a dollar.  The government figures that alcohol and offering free entertainment will keep them from revolting.  So far it is working, they will offer free things (exception of food) before a schedule protest and then it suddenly turns pro-government.

These people should raise in mass to fight against there government. Somehow they should either gather weapons or seek help from the international community.  However, the government is killing and imprisoning the people who protest, but the only way things are going to change is if lives are sacrificed for the greater good.

Lastly, our dear government should think about doing something either by being vocal or cutting down trade.  If President Obama is all about helping other people and being vocal about injustice then he needs to be vocal against Angola.  On the other hand, trade is more important to the United States then being vocal against that type of government.  Something needs to be done.

Sex Offenders Video

Hello to everyone

So I have not been blogging for awhile due to school and working, but I hope everyone is doing well.

So I am going to start off by telling you that I am going to school for my Master's in Criminal Justice and currently I am taking a class called 'Sex Offenders and Sex Crimes."  This is a really interesting class because you learn from the views of offenders and victims.  In addition, history and society views.

For my class this week our professor assigned us to watch a video called "Our America-State of Sex Offenders (Lisa Ling)

This video highlights the issues of victims and mostly sex offenders.  It was a very powerful film about sex offenders must live in Florida.  That some of these laws are ways to keep people in prison or to keep them away from society in the woods.

There are always going to be criminals re-offending and it happens to be that sex offenders are the ones to be the least worried about and if you want me to provide you sources, I can provide that to you.  These laws seem to be doing more harm than good.  Lastly, it is those who have not been caught are the ones that are the most concern.

I encourage you to watch this video to open your eyes.  I have been a victim myself, but I do not let that dictate my logic.  These offenders are humans too and they should not have to live in the woods to survive, they should be able to find employment and housing too.  If they cannot then the state needs to build homes to help them live and get back on their feet.

Airstrikes in Iraq

Obama has authorized airstrikes against Islamic Militants to protect Americans and help the Kurds.  I am not surprised that the extreme Sunnis were back at it again fighting with Shiites and the Kurds.  The militant Sunnis have a problem with being put out of power even though they were the minority religious group and they have always had a problem with Christians and the Kurds.  Although Saddam Hussein did protect the Christians from harm (most of them), but he still had a lot of fun targeting Shiites and the Kurds.
I understand that a majority of Americans wanted us to withdraw out of Iraq and it happened in 2011. However, there was a belief that Iraq could become the new Vietnam.  American troops left Vietnam in 1973 because it was not favorable for the people.  After we leave North Vietnam attacks South Vietnam,  South Vietnam is forced to surrender, uniting the country again except under Communism.
Iraq is not a country divided like Vietnam.  No it is much worse where extremists will stop at nothing to push their beliefs onto others until they have control.  This would not have happened if Americans had stayed a little longer and had diplomats working with the different factions and groups in Iraq to have a working relationship.  However, we were not given enough time because Obama was facing re-election and he wanted to look good for the people so he had the troops leave.  I understand that the Iraqis wanted us to leave but the original agreement was actually for 2014 for full withdrawal, but he wanted to look good for the election.

All in all, we should not have left so abruptly.  Furthermore, if Americans had been paying attention you would have seen that the Sunni Extremists were building in power. They had took over the government of some cities and forced the people in those cities to follow extremists laws when it comes to morality and strict Islamic code.  The extremists slowly started gaining, however after full troop withdrawal in 2011 they were able to gain massive power and weapons for exactly what they are doing right now.
Americans and Europe blamed former President Jalal Talabani and current Prime Minister Nour al-Maliki for the reason the extremists are attacking the people because they say he did not work hard enough to establish peace with the Sunnis. However, the extremists do not speak for a majority of the Sunnis.  Yes he is to blame for some of the problem, but so is the United States and the United Nations.

In conclusion, everyone is to blame President Obama, former President Talabani, Prime Minister Nour al-Maliki, and United Nations because they did not do more to eliminate the extremists.  The extremists do not speak for the majority of the Sunnis. The extremists want power to force people to submit to their belief system.  Now the solution is to eliminate the leaders of ISIS because there is no way that peace is going to work at this point.  Point in case: extremists from any group that are attacking innocent people should be killed and shown no mercy.

Socialism Wouldn't Work for United States

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/07/switzerland_0_n_4038031.html

Read the article above this line and I love peoples comments.  People say the U.S. should take a hint and that Socialism works.  However, socialism only works for European Countries and those in other countries.

Socialism would not work in the U.S. because our Constitution is incompatible.  Our constitution was designed not to have equal endings for all, but it was designed to make your life the way you want it to be.  That has innovation all over it, but that does not mean that everyone is going to take advantage or find the opportunities.

I went to a school that was in the middle- to low-income areas and I saw many people that did not take advantage of the education that was given.  We had AP classes for children to enroll in to challenge themselves. There were programs to prepare for college. Although all those opportunities were given many people decided that hanging out with friends, ditching school was better, getting into fights, and not caring about their personal health.

Here in America we decide what we want to do in life.  We have to find the opportunities, they do not just come to us.  We have to put in work in order to find the opportunities and succeed in what we do. Our Founders learned that government dependency was not good because they have the right to control you and take your life away.

Socialistic countries have a tight hold on their people when it comes to personal freedom and rights.  Why else do you think when they protest they through Molotov cocktails into buildings and get buck wild.  They know that is the only way someone might listen to them.

I Don't Think Bill Pascrell Has Got His Facts Straight

Here is the link:  http://foxnewsinsider.com/2013/10/04/cut-crap-hannity-takes-democrat-bill-pascrell-over-obamacare-perks-congress

Bill Pascrell Democrat of New Jersey claims that all Americans signed up for Obamacare and that a majority of Americans support Obamacare.  Where the hell did he get his facts?  We were forced to sign up because they completely disregarded the Americans point of view.  Americans did not agree with this bill and that is why Democrats lost their seats in the House and Senate.  They chose to lose their seats by not listening to the American people.
They get a 72%  subsidy which is unfair to the American people because it is our tax dollars being used for them.  I am happy that it was reported that the some Democrats and Republicans opted out of the subsidy.
Furthermore, Bill Pascrell thinks that Republicans are waving the white flag for the poor and the unions.  However, that is not the case they just listen to what the people want.  In some ways he is right because the government would not have gotten this big if it was not for Republicans giving up.  Now the people are suffering, this government shutdown is proof of it.  The 1995 shutdown was proof of the Democrats having control of Congress for more than 40 years.  They spent too much money and now they are suffering.
In conclusion, Bill Pascrell was not telling the truth, he has no right to speak for the American people.  The American people did not want this because they do not believe that the feds can handle the workload.  They cannot, they are slow.  States should have been given the power and the money to initialize healthcare for those that cannot be covered and they are quicker at providing service and it will be cheaper.  Arizona is a perfect example of AHCCCS working.  The Native American Health Care service is a perfect indicator of how the feds are going to run the program and that is slow. I have a friend that says she has to wait a long time to get service.

The Most Tyrannical Government Elected

I really hope Americans are beginning to wake up!!!!  I feel like yelling at the American population to wake up and realize that this government does not have our best interests at heart.

First they passed that stupid Healthcare act in which over 50 percent of the population opposed.  Then Obama goes on a rampage with executive orders.  Thankfully, those expire when he leaves office.  In addition, he was really hoping to send over patriot drones over Syria and other lethal weapons to subdue the government. In which, the people do not want at all.  Finally, stupid John Kerry goes on and signs the UN Arms Treaty in which the Senate will revoke. I know that the Senate will revoke this treaty because even Democrats do not want other international representatives dictating the U.S.  Furthermore, they will lose their Senate seats if they support the treaty.  Some had to learn the hard way during the mid-term elections in 2010 when they supported the Healthcare Reform Act.

Obama and his administration clearly have forgotten that they do not have the support of the people from when they entered into office in 2008.  John Kerry is really overstepping and so is Obama.  When are the people going to realize that this government is extremely tyrannical?

Yes there are those that are going to ask themselves well what about former President Bush like with the Patriot Act.  Well Obama and Congress favored continuance of that law. So think about who has got the interests of the American people at heart.  One thing I know for sure it is not the federal government.

Obama Stop Ignoring the People

This is going to brief because I am tired and I want to go to bed.

Obama and his fellow colleagues are once again making a decision to ignore the American people and go for intervention into Syria.

He claims that it is not going to be like the Iraq War, but I highly doubt that and we will be there for a long time.  I really do think the U.S. needs to take military option off of the table.  Furthermore, a majority of Americans do not want this like the Affordable Health Care Act.  We were warned about presidents becoming tyrannical and Obama is becoming more like that every day.  Issuing executive orders with a high disregard for the people and passing laws that Americans see as unfavorable.

Obama do what you want, but know in the future you will become known as one of the worst Presidents in history if you keep doing what you are doing.

Stop ignoring the people. This election you should have realized that you need to listen to the people and you almost lost this election.

Syrian Civil War

So I would like to cover this piece of news that I heard about 3 weeks ago in regards to the Syrian Civil War. A little background is necessary for those that may not know too much about the Syrian Civil War.  President Bashar al-Assad is fighting rebel forces and these rebels are demanding that he steps down as President. However, he is holding his own by fighting the rebels. The U.S. is supplying the rebels and Russia is supporting al- Assad.

The U.S. needs to stop supplying these rebels. This video shows a rebel taking out the heart and liver of the soldier and the video stops at the point when he begins to consume the heart and liver. The rebel is trying to send a message to al-Assad that he needs to step down and also he could be saying that this is what is going to happen to him.  Putin, not one for reason, has told the U.S. they need to stop helping these rebels. They are just as bad as the Syrian President and maybe even worse.
Here is the video:

Divided Nation

So when I saw this I got so angry, but I did not get angry at the extreme left for this.  I got angry because people believe what the extremist are claiming in this post. You honestly believe that people will do such a thing? I do not think that the Republicans told Democrats that the vote is on Novemeber 7th, that is the most dumbest thing that I have heard in a long time.  They know that Americans will believe any propaganda if you shove it in their face or show young people who tend to be extremists, both sides do it.  We young people are the most impressionable people, most of us will not do research.  We believe everything that is told to us and we take it and run with it.  Most young people are the ones that think out of the box and calm down a little later, but there are the few that truly believe when they are older.  Bolshevik Revolution was done by young people, Mao Tse-Sung was young when he began the Communist Revolution and he led many young people with him.
We have to start questioning the things that are told to us especially young people.  The media manipulates us and tries to make them believe that they are the only ones that know everything, when they are only scratching the surface of the problem.  This problem comes from when we were kids, some want to teach us what to think, but not how to think.  They do not teach us how to question the facts or interpret the facts, that comes when we are in college.
Now let me conclude how this all relates to a divided nation.  The extremists of both parties are making the people more split, they have been working at it for awhile to divide the nation.  We need to start having a middle ground because the nation is too divided.  Romney and Obama are tied in the elections and this shows that the country is divided.  I know that I have posted about this before BUT COMPROMISE IS NECESSARY. Our Founding Fathers have warned that factions are going to hurt our nation.  Another quote is that America is not going to fall from an outside country, but from within.  This would be possible if we keep up the divisions, we need to start getting along!!!

COMPROMISE PEOPLE!!  START GETTING ALONG, OUR NATION IS FALLING APART!!!

Abortion

Abortion, it seems to become an issue in every election.  Well, I am sick of it and truly I am sick of it.  I personally do not support abortion, but what gives me the right to tell someone what to do with their body.  If complications occur during or after the abortion, then that is something that they will have to temporarily live with or permanently live with for the rest of their lives.

I know that my Christian friends are going to hate me for saying this and claim that I am not a real Christian, but in reality it is not my right to tell them how they want to deal with their body.  Now if I get engaged in a debate about abortion I will let them know how I feel and I will let them explain to me how they feel about it.  However, I feel that the abortion argument is dead and we do have laws that would explain all the consequences and when it is not allowed to have an abortion and so forth.

I get so sick of it being brought up and I figure this that God will be the judge.  Americans need to understand that we are going to disagree and we live in a nation where we are allowed to have different view points.  If you can't live with that you picked the wrong nation to live in.  America is divided and both sides need to start making concessions or we are going to be in a stalemate.

Americans and American government leaders wake up and realize that both sides need to compromise.  We live in a nation where one side of the spectrum is going to win or lose all.  Start making compromises or the nation will deteriorate.

Taliban Cracks Me Up at the Moment

 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/22/afghanistan-war-taliban-p_n_1537224.html

A quote from the article:
"Nobody can trust their statements and lies," Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in an e-mail to the media on Tuesday, a day after the two-day summit closed in Chicago. "They are claiming that everything is fine in Afghanistan, which is far from the reality."

Before I get to the quote that I have took from the article, I will summarize the article. The article is about the slow withdrawal of NATO forces in Afghanistan.  NATO will have the troops no longer operating in combat mode after 2014, but will be training the military and operating there.  Pakistan and Afghanistan is happy that NATO will continue to try to stabilize the country and prevent another Taliban and Al-Qaeda take over and not do a rush job of leaving Afghanistan to fend for itself.  Iran is the only one that is weary because they do not want the US and NATO forces to be leaving a big military in the middle east and I think that they are scared that the US might attempt to invade Iran or support Israel if  a war was to happen.

So back to the lovely quote from the Taliban. The Taliban to me it seems like they are questioning why NATO has decided to leave.  Now would they not want NATO to leave so they can take over the country.  NATO is in the country because of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, they are the problem.  NATO was used to invade Afghanistan because one of the terrorists organizations decided to attack the US and according to the alliance they had to invade to stop the Taliban.  Taliban and Al-Qaeda were in control of the government after the Soviets left and then when the US and NATO forces came into the country they lost control of Afghanistan.

The reason things are unstable is because an international terrorist organization was running Afghanistan and NATO forces came in and splintered the terrorist groups.

I think it is funny that he thinks the country is unstable and things are not all right and there is no reason for NATO troops to leave, but you are the one that is attacking the Afghan military and government preventing NATO from leaving. IF things are so unstable then work on a peace deal with the Afghan government

Iran

For a few years I have been saying that Iran is going to get in some kind of trouble with their energy development. President Bush even knew that there was an issue with them developing nuclear energy because we do not know what are their real reasons for development. They could be developing nuclear weapons or they could be using it for energy purposes. We will not know until they let inspectors in and they do want even to do that. If they are so afraid of inspectors, it does make you question their motives.

On the other hand, Israel is using this to attack Iran in which they have always wanted to and now they have a window of opportunity. Israel now wants to start airstrikes on the site where this so-called "energy development" is going on. Israel has been wanting to go after Iran for awhile and I am not surprised by them taking this opportunity to strike. Iran has made threats at Israel in the past, but they both have been making threats. It is a war that was bound to happen and now the time has come from them to duke it out.

United States will not participate unless Iran decides to mine the Strait of Hormuz and the U.S. needs to send sweepers in. Also another possibility is if Iran begins to attack Israel and they end up going on the defensive then we might have some obligation to assist depending on the treaty standards.

We will see what happens, but I honestly believe Israel will attack.

France Passed the Law Dealing with the Armenian Genocide

Let me say this Turkey needs to own up to what they have done a century ago. However, my interpretation of this comes from my perspective. Here in America if we made it a crime to deny anything that the government wants us to accept it would be deemed unconstitutional. France is different then America and they do not have the same protections as we do. On the other hand, France did direct this legislation towards Turkey and now they are going to be hurt by the sanctions that are going to be put into place and the other sanctions that will come into play in the future. Turkey needs to acknowledge that what they did was wrong.

France passed a law making it a crime to deny the Armenian Genocide. If you do then you are to spend up to a year in jail and pay 45,000 fine. That figure I did not convert to Euros. That is more then getting caught drunk driving.

You know I knew that this was going to happen that they would pass the law. However, this goes against everything the French have stood for in recent years. They passed the Declaration of Human Rights in the UN. There they protect freedom of speech in the declaration. They are violating the rights of free speech by not allowing anyone that believes it did not happen. Some are never going to believe. Many people still think the Holocaust did not happen even though their are thousands of documents that prove it had happened. Example, President Ahmadinejad of Iran he does not believe it happened.

I do think that Turkey needs to stop denying it. However, I think that they choose to forget about it because they see it as a terrible time in history. They choose to forget, they just do not want to deal with it. I think it is partially because many of them were given the stolen goods of the Armenians when they were deported from their towns. I think they feel that the earlier generations of the whole society was responsible and they just do not want to deal with it.

I do think that they need to own up to it. On the other hand, France needs to stop thinking that they are better then everyone because they have plenty of history where they killed massive amounts of people. For instance, in the French Revolution, they executed many of the aristocrats. They also led a war against the Protestants and the Protestants led a war too. The Crusades were pretty bad to, they had their own jihad against people of the Islamic Faith.

France is not totally innocent nor is the United States. I am not a representative of the US and I am not arguing for the US. I am just an individual who thinks that France has got some nerve to place judgment and forgo the freedom of speech just so they can make a statement. By making this law you are likely going to inhibit recognition and you are going to make it bad for the Armenians again. You are not making it any easier on both sides of the issue.

Another thing, France where were you when the genocide happened? You had the opportunity to help the Armenians, but you chose to ignore it. You could have invaded the Ottoman Empire and helped the Armenians. You could have influenced trials to be held and make them stick when it came time to deal with Turkey after the end of the war. The only country that really tried to help was England. You could have helped, but you ignored it just like the United States did. You could have told Turkey that part of their defeat was that they will have to punish those that hurt the Armenians.

You did nothing before, why are you trying to now? Do you feel that you are responsible for the Genocide because you did nothing before?

Not Every Act that Congress Passes is Applicable to Each State

I was sitting in my politics class and I have sort of a revelation. I understand that the federal government passes acts to benefit us. However, some acts do not help other states. For instance, No Child Left Behind. This act may have helped kids that were falling behind in some states, but it hurt the other states. Some states have bigger problems than education. For instance, some states have immigration issues. They have their resources being used up by people that do not pay for those resources. Other states may have issues with unemployment. There are states that are in terrible economic conditions. Take Michigan for example they haven't and still do not have the best economy. Many people have moved from Michigan to Arizona because they think they can get jobs here.

I think that the federal government needs to begin looking at the smaller picture. Another way to help states more effectively is to give them block grants to help fix some of their problems.

American National Government

Some of you may know that I am taking American National Government to pass the time. Also a college did not accept my AP credit so I am just taking it in case I go there. However, their some lovely thing that I learned today. As I am reading my government book, I begin to feel a little bad. I blamed poor FDR for so many things when actually part of the problem stems today from the dear Supreme Court.

Okay let me begin I think the New Deal was a good idea in some ways, but some of the programs during that time brought us back into the depression. Thanks to World War II ( I am not happy about the lives that got lost in the war or h
appy that it occurred) it got us out and when we were assisting Britain before we entered the war. However, the Supreme Court is somewhat to blame for the reason we are in a "Welfare State" at the moment. They helped contribute by judging in some cases where the National Government gains superiority. Also a judge name Fiske, I believe, stated that the 10th was irrelevant. However, in 1990s the Supreme Court tried to clean up their mess of late by devolution.

As you have noticed in the last few days, people are really worried about Europe stocks at the moment. Now let me tell y
ou that in a decade or two we are going to be seeing exactly that or maybe even in three decades. We are going to be likely in a Social Welfare State, namely Socialism. Maybe we will not be full out Socialist for another 100 years. I think it is going to happen. Unless, we do something about it and stop the expansion of the government.

Europe is not producing enough to keep up with the financial costs of their social welfare plans. That is why they may need to deregulate a little bit and allow their businesses to thrive. Meaning they need to develop new types of products and export to other countries. U.S. will see this problem in the future if they do not get it together. Deregulate a little bit and allow businesses to patent new products and produce them. They will see a growth in jobs and money flow to the people. Then we will not need the government to issue tax cuts or stimulus packets. America could learn from Hong Kong because Americans and others like to go their to get business going. There are so many regulations here in America that it prevents an increase in smaller business and allow them to get bigger. For instance John Stossal interviewed several people that began business in Hong Kong and they succeeded. Why? The succeeded because of low regulations to get business going and maintain one.

That is what America needs to do to create jobs or we are in the crap whole for a long time. We need to stop depending on the federal government to do everything for us and they need to limit their powers and hand it over to the state.
