No Military Invasion of Syria

Everyone knows that Obama is now adding military option against Syria if the conflict does not resolve or President Assad does not step down.

President Obama is not thinking about this and he is acting very similar to President Bush.  Many of you will think that this is not similar to President Bush invading Iraq, but it is.

I do not think that we have the right to intervene into the Civil War of another nation.  Anyways, if we help these rebels (militarily( who is to say they will not turn on us once like many of Shiite Muslims in Iraq.  However, not all of them have turned on us, but definitely the radical side of them that has a similar outlook to the rulers of Iran.  President Obama and Democrats in the end did not support the invasion of Iraq and criticize Bush for the war.  However, they all think that it is okay to invade Syria.

The situation in Syria is worse then the one in Iraq in 2003.  The reasons why:
  1. It is a Civil War between a group of people (rebels) and the government.  The rebels are tired of the government they view as tyrannical.  They say they want more rights, but who knows it could be like Egypt in the future where it actually gets more strict, but under Sunni rule.
  2. Yes, the conflict may be causing mass amounts of refugees, but in what war has there been no refugees?  Yes, countries like Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, and other countries are having problems with refugees, but that is nothing new when it comes to war.  Those people are the ones that deserve to have food and aid.  On the other hand, the rebels are violent and once again we do not know if they will turn on us once they have won the war.
  3. Russia and China have valuable reasons for other countries not to invade into the Syrian conflict and they could pose big problems to the U.S. if we decide to invade.  Furthermore, Russian troops (minimal) are already on ground in Syria, helping President Assad gain control over Syria again. If we invade to help the rebels we will be fighting a proxy war with the Russian military.  That will make relations with the Russians even worse.  I guess we could use Syria as a means of getting back in China for causing that conflict with Japan, but still not wise to invade.
Once again are dear President and Congress is going to refuse to listen to the American people.  He refused to listen on the Healthcare Bill and now he is not going to listen to the American people again.  We should stay out of it all together and not make the decision to join a side.  Right now no one knows who is the lesser of two evils. In the end, it looks like Obama wants to support rebels who eat soldiers hearts to send a message.

Personal Prison

I believe that it is safe to assume that we all have a personal prison.  Think about the place that is a personal prison to you.  My personal prison is home.  it is my prison because people try to make me feel like I am obligated to take care of them. They get mad if I do not put them before my personal needs.  If I work during a time they need to go to work I get hell for it.  I get so sick and tired of it, but there is nothing I can do to get away at the moment.

At one point in my life I lived in New York and it was one of the best moments in my life because I did not have to be obligated to anyone, it was all about me.  Also people remembered me by my name and not as someones sister or friend.  It was an amazing time.

However, I should have stayed, but I left after one year. That is where I went back to my prison cell. Once again, I was known as someones sister or someones friend.  Once again, I am the little piece of shit that no one cares about and there are times when I think that if I was gone would they care about me?

Here in Arizona I am a nobody.  That is okay because one day I will leave this state and drop those that found me as insignificant.

Forever 21

Alright so everyone is making a big deal about Forever 21. You know what people do have the right to be mad.  However, I am surprised that people are barely seeing that Forever 21 is not a good company.  They are the worst company for employment.  They do not give their employees decent hours nor do they see them as beneficial to the company.  Furthermore, Forever 21 is able to sell their clothing so cheap because they pay their employees crap.  I had a co-worker that used to work there and she hated it.  She saw many people quit that place in less than six months and she herself only lasted there eight months before she got another job.

I have never shopped at Forever 21 and I will never shop there.  If they cannot treat their employees right then they do not deserve my money.  I know that I am one insignificant human being not paying into that store, but I will stand up against them.

Mayor Bloomberg

So I decided to blog about the lovely Mayor Bloomberg. He is the poster-child for government trying to tell you how to live.  He banned trans-fat, attempted to ban large soda, and now he is trying to make New Yorkers take the stairs.

When I lived New York I did not mind going up a couple of flights of stairs to get to my destination. However, if you know anything about living in New York you know that walking is your life and you are usually walking pretty fast.  New Yorkers know all about the power walk to reach our destination.

However, I do not think that he has the right to force New Yorkers to take the stairs.  By the way, I do not think he has any room to talk because I am pretty sure he takes a car everywhere.  Furthermore, I am pretty sure if he had to choose between an escalator or the stairs he would pick the latter.

Lastly, I forgot to mention when the Sandy Hurricane came through he banned donations of cooked food to homeless shelters because the government could not test the salt content of the food.  He cared more about salt content than feeding the thousands of people that were displaced by the storm.

I believe that he just wants to control the lives of millions of New Yorkers through legislation.  He does not care about the people, he just is power hungry.  He wants to control all those that are around him regardless of the peoples opinion and he wants to make himself look good in the media.

I know that my blog jumped around a bit, but the point is government.  Government is not suppose to manage the lives of people.  Government is there to make sure that there is order.

Mayor Bloomberg wants to do more then keep order, he wants to control the lives of people.  He is nothing but a selfish idiot who only does this for power and the media. I hope that he does not run for President because he would try to control our lives down to our undergarments.

Big Government at its finest.

Why Does Everything Have to Involve Race in America?

This question is my topic for this blog and I am going to try to provide some answers for it in a simple way.

  1. We live in America that identifies people by race -- We have to learn to not say I am black, I am white, I am brown.  We need to change that because then maybe less people will turn it into a race issue
  2. Americans can turn a simple issue into a race issue--I love this one because the race card gets so easily pulled out.  We can turn just about anything into a race issue if it involves two people of different colors.  Except most of the time the real issue was never about the color of your skin.  There was a Democrat, I forget his name, he decided to rail against Conddoleezza Rice because she is a black Republican.  You choose your party not based on the color of your skin, you choose a party that is most aligned with your values.  That is not a race issue.
  3. Once again we live in America that has an issue of racism--like most nations they have all had this problem.  We Americans forget that this was recent past and we are still trying to get over it and make sure everything is equal.  This process takes time and it will continue to take time. Membership of the Ku KLux Klan is a perfect indicator things are changing and people are becoming more accepting.  They will soon be of no influence at all in the future.
  4. Once again America asks us to identify by race rather then just being American---This is a very important reason why we cannot get over the race problem because they still expect us to identify by color.  When
  5.  in truth we are all Americans.  We may have different ethnic backgrounds, different traditions, and different cultures, but we are all Americans.

Personally, I do not care about the color of anyone's skin because I believe that we are all Americans.  However, we need to start changing the way we think.  Furthermore, change does not occur right away, but it takes time.  President Obama he knows that change does not occur right away and he knows that it is going to take time.  Furthermore, when they pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964, I am pretty sure they knew they were still going to hear cases of discrimination because people do not change overnight.

Lastly, I am pretty sure you know why I am posting this on this day.  Well, its because I saw many posts on this Zimmerman case.  Here is my opinion, not taking race into account here.  The state of Florida failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt he committed murder.  Florida prosecutors failed to prove their case and that is the problem.  It is not the justice system, it was the state of Florida.

People say a black man has no justice, but I do know of several cases where a black man was acquitted of all his charges.  I have a friend that was acquitted.

Syrian Civil War

So I would like to cover this piece of news that I heard about 3 weeks ago in regards to the Syrian Civil War. A little background is necessary for those that may not know too much about the Syrian Civil War.  President Bashar al-Assad is fighting rebel forces and these rebels are demanding that he steps down as President. However, he is holding his own by fighting the rebels. The U.S. is supplying the rebels and Russia is supporting al- Assad.

The U.S. needs to stop supplying these rebels. This video shows a rebel taking out the heart and liver of the soldier and the video stops at the point when he begins to consume the heart and liver. The rebel is trying to send a message to al-Assad that he needs to step down and also he could be saying that this is what is going to happen to him.  Putin, not one for reason, has told the U.S. they need to stop helping these rebels. They are just as bad as the Syrian President and maybe even worse.
Here is the video:

Self-Centered People

Lately, I have not posted on this blog, but today I am feeling especially irked.  There are those that wish they could be the center of everyone's world and they expect you to run on their terms when they want you to.  They expect utter and complete devotion and expect you to put their needs in front of yours.

Furthermore, you sometimes feel overshadowed by them.  They only know who you are because of someone else they remember. Also they are the only ones that get the attention in a crowd because they purposely make it so they are the center of attention. They expect the whole world to know who they are and remember them.

I hate the feeling of being overshadowed. I feel like I need to move across the country in order to be my own person.  I hate the fact that I can never just have the spotlight on me just once and for a little bit. I normally do not like the spotlight, but it would help with this feeling of being overshadowed.

I am happy that I can express myself on this blog and that is why I am using it.  Self-Center people only care about themselves and no one else because no one else matters to them.  I think it is funny when a self-centered person asks me why I care about the other persons feelings.  Well, you should care about the people that you are around.
